With the FIFA U-17 World Cup less than three weeks away, on Monday hosts Brazil arrived at the Granja Comary, the Brazilian Football Association's training facility in Teresopolis, to begin their training camp.

Head coach Guilherme Dalla Dea, his technical staff plus former Brazil left-back and 1994 FIFA World Cup™ champion Branco greeted the 21 players.

The players went through their medical exams, and will continue preparing at the facility until 22 October, when they travel to Brasilia ahead of a tournament-opening match-up with Canada on 26 October at the Bezerrão Stadium.

Flamengo attacking midfielder Reinier and Vasco da Gama forward Talles Magno, both selected to Dalla Dea's Brazil 2019 squad, will each join their clubs for matches and return to national team training on 14 October.

All FIFA U-17 World Cup rosters are provisional until FIFA announces the final rosters later this month.

Drawn into Group A alongside Canada, New Zealand and Angola, the hosts are aiming to capture their fourth U-17 world championship, a total that would pull them within one title of all-time leaders Nigeria, who were placed in Group B.
